School Desk

This lovely desk was kindly donated to us by Janet Gyford and her family and is on show in our Heritage Room.

The desk was rescued by Janet from Chipping Hill Primary School, as they were changing furniture, when the school was located in Church Street. You can see the desks in use in this photo from 1947 from Janet's website: https://www.janetgyford.com/media/christmas-party-chipping-hill-school-2/
