Pamphlet of Traffic Signals to be used by the Police and Drivers of Vehicles

In our archives, we have this pamphlet of signals, published by The Automobile Association and printed by His Majesty's Stationery Office in 1923. It bears the copyright of the Crown and is approved by the Home Office and the Scottish Office.

The pamphlet includes the signals of a Police Officer when directing traffic and also the hand signals that should be used by drivers to indicate when turning left or right, or slowing and stopping.
