Bramston Sports Centre Plaque

Official opening plaque for Bramston Sports Centre

Bramston Sports Centre in Bridge Street opened it's doors in 1974. It was officially opened by Sir Henry Cooper OBE. The sports centre was open for 40 years, closing on 14th August 2014 as it's replacement opened in Spinks Lane. The plaque that you can see in these pictures is now kept at the Town Hall.
