Witham Puppet Festival is held every year on the third Saturday of September. Starting in 1999, it has now become a famous fixture for the town, attracting crowds from all over. Taking on a different theme each year, this fantastic free family event sees puppets and street performers take over the town, with entertainment to please young and old alike. With new elements being added every year, it's an event that pulls you back year after year.

Unfortunately social restrictions have meant that this event has not run since 2019. Hopefully the Puppet Festival will come back bigger and better than ever in 2022.
