Christmas in Witham

After a difficult December in 2020, Witham Town Council are working hard to bring you a full bill of Christmas events for 2021.

This kicks off with our brand new Christmas Fayre on Saturday 4th December, which will see Newland Street lined with festive stalls for all your Christmas shopping needs. In between your browsing, why not grab yourself a warm mulled wine and gather round for the big switch-on of the town's Christmas lights? Then enjoy the festive entertainment under the twinkling Christmas tree. We also have our Crafter's Corner at Witham's United Reformed church, where you will also be able to buy a warm drink away from the cold December weather.

Later in the month our Carols by Candlelight will return after a successful first event in 2020. Wrap up warm and join others outside to sing along to your favourite Christmas Carols, in partnership with Churches Together, on Wednesday 15th December.

And guess who is due to visit the Town Hall this December? Only Father Christmas! He will be popping in to say hello to all the boys and girls and find out who has been naughty or nice this year. The dates that Father Christmas will be visiting the Grotto are:

Saturday 4th December

Saturday 18th December

Tuesday 21st December

Tickets for the Grotto are free and will be released for booking in waves. The first wave of tickets will be available to book from 6pm on Monday 25th October.

Tickets for the Christmas grotto are now sold out. We apologise for any disappointment.

More information on all of our Christmas events will be available in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for updates.  To keep up with the most up to date information, why not follow us on social media?
