Witham Puppet Festival is traditionally held on the third Saturday of September and is an action packed day of family fun, featuring mixed puppet acts from far and wide. Organisations from all across the town take part in the free event. Story telling puppetry takes place throughout the day in the Library for the younger audience in our community.
We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary on Saturday 21st September. This year’s theme is “The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party” which promises to feature an mixture of acts. We are pleased to welcome back Titan the Robot and Granny Tourismo, and will of course have a Punch & Judy. Look out for elephants, praying mantis, music, stilt walkers and much more. There really is something for everyone! Details will be published in the Autumn copy of The Voice and the full programme will be available shortly.
We are proud to be supported by Arts Council England for our spectacular 20th birthday event.
