Every November Witham comes together to celebrate Christmas old school, with the Dickensian Market and Christmas Light Switch-on. A mixture of food and drink and numerous quality crafts by local business are on offer, including tombola and raffle opportunities. Performances are held throughout the day and both new and emerging acts are welcome to take part.

This year the Dickensian Christmas Market will take place in the Newland Centre, Witham on Saturday, 24 November 2018.
The Switch on of the Christmas tree lights and the Town Hall lights will take place at 4.30pm on Saturday, 24 November 2018.
If you would like to have a stall at the Dickensian Christmas Market please contact the Town Hall for a booking form, The fee for a charity stall is £10.00 and a small business is £20.00.Pplease note you will need to have Public Liability Insurance and you will have to provide your own gazebo and tables.
