The Witham Community Day is held each year on the second Saturday of June and is a free to attend event in the Town Park, Maldon Road.
Each year, stall holders of local community organisations are invited to take part to raise awareness for their causes and showcase their work. This free and fun day out boasts family attractions, singing, dancing and for the last two years has been a great success.
2019’s event saw the highest number of local stallholders to date take part, including guest performances from a wide variety of troupes and dance acts. In addition to a multitude of stalls to visit, performances continue throughout the day in the display arena, numerous food and drink outlets visit and a variety of attractions and rides for children are available. Community organisations can take part free of charge, and the day is free to visit for all local citizens.
