The new and progressive Anglia Polytechnic University is situated close by in the County Town of Chelmsford. Anglia has well-established close links with business and industry, including a long-term relationship with the Ford Motor Company, and its Anglia Business School has a national reputation. The Michael Ashcroft International Buisness School is based in the Rivermead campus of the Anglia Polytechnic University. Also at the university there is the Institute of Health and Social Care which provides NHS pre and post qualifying education for nurses for the whole of Essex.
